This is the above ground stairs that leads into Ai Weiwei's studio and deck. Instead of adding handrails like the below sketch, i decided to omit them and follow the original keyword which was 'simplicity'. To avoid the danger of falling off the stairs, they are very wide and come in short segments

This is the stair way leading into Stelarc's studio space and gallery. It is quite narrow with chords attached to the ceiling to resonate Sterlarc's style of art and evoke a feeling of 'suspension'.
